 Megalithic Statues Hidden Halfway Around the World- Bada Valley, Sulawesi, Indonesia

 Discovered in 1908, the hidden megaliths of the Bada Valley in Central Sulawesi are statues scattered throughout the area next to the Lore Lindu National Park. The megalithic statues, almost unknown and isolated from the outside world, are made in various shapes and sizes, some standing, some lying on the ground, which adds to the mystery of their surroundings. 

Located 15 km South of Lore Lindu National Park, the Bada Valley and its statues are crossed by the Lariang River, a river that irrigates countless rice fields and about a dozen villages in the area. Due to their remoteness, only a few archaeologists and travelers dare to venture out each year. Due to its mountainous terrain and lack of roads, the area, as beautiful and terrifying as it may be, is a true enigma for those who wish to venture there.
